Frequently Asked Questions
We’re building relationships—we’re not just delivering a service. Positively Human grew out of a commitment to getting back to the basics of humanness, treating every individual with dignity and respect. Where some providers “conduct a service,” we invest in relationships because that’s where healing and growth begin. We believe that real change happens through trust, connection, and understanding.
We’re not therapy—we teach and support others in doing their best work. While our team brings decades of clinical and consulting expertise, our role in CCTS and organizational facilitation is to equip caregivers, teams, and leaders with practical, evidence‑based approaches they can use in everyday settings—turning evidence‑based practices into actionable skills that empower people and organizations.
We move from policy to people. We actively question the “Why” of policies and collaborate around rules that may inadvertently put policy over people—seeking compassionate, workable solutions with individuals, supports, and policymakers. Our vision is clear: “By moving from policy to people, whole humans will see whole humans.”
Consultative Clinical and Therapeutic Services (CCTS) for Caregivers – We partner with Wisconsin Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and IRIS to collaborate with individuals and their care teams, improving daily experiences, relationships, and community inclusion. Our approach is hands‑on and rooted in collaborative learning.
Consultation, Workshops, and Training – From caregiver education to professional development and in‑house coaching, we provide human‑centered, strengths‑based, trauma‑informed learning focused on implementing change in real-world settings.
Leadership and Team Building – Custom facilitation that strengthens relationships, aligns goals, and creates environments where employees thrive and bring their best selves forward.
Retreat Facilitation – Tailored retreats to help teams disconnect from daily demands, dive into tough topics, restore, and reconnect—always with your unique goals at the center.

We support people who work with, care for, or lead other people. While our roots are in Wisconsin’s long-term care system, our approach extends far beyond any single system or role. If humans are supporting other humans, our work applies.
We are based in Wisconsin and actively provide services across the state. Need support outside Wisconsin? Contact us to explore remote and on‑site options for your team or organization.

To ensure timely, equitable support, we prioritize using these criteria:
Consultant Availability – Referrals in locations near consultants with availability will be prioritized to reduce drive time and focus on client needs.
Care Team Readiness – When caregivers and care teams are prepared to collaborate, changes can be implemented more efficiently and maintained over time.
We will communicate expected timelines at referral and maintain transparency throughout.
